We were able to pick a wrapper that we designed or use the one they had already created for us. My whole family choose to get milk chocolate bars, the kids added sprinkles on the tops of their bars, and we all choose different inclusions.Ī post shared by Nickida Stephens watching the bars being made we walked into another room to design the outer box for our special candy bar.ĭesigning the wrapper was super easy. Next we started by choosing the kind of chocolate we wanted for our base bar, the inclusions, and whether we wanted sprinkles or not. The first step is to watch a safety video about the process and making your candy bar. Make sure you hold on to your ticket through the entire process because you will need it at all the stations along the way. Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Kids 2 and under do not need a ticket if they are not creating a chocolate bar. The Create Your Own Candy Bar experience at Chocolate World at Hesheypark costs $17.95 per person. There is an express option that costs a bit more. The process takes about 45 minutes from start to finish. We talked to the person at the entrance and explained his Autism and sensory issues and he told us it was fine for him to enter without the hair net. wore his at first but quickly pulled it off. We started the process by getting a gown and hair net. We ended up having a few hours to kill before our scheduled time so we headed inside the park for a couple of hours until it was time to start making our candy bar. We didn’t know that time slots filled up so fast, so I recommend you head to Chocolate World early to book your desired time slot. We arrived at Chocolate World and signed up for our time slot. Thanks to Hershey’s Chocolate World we were given the option to try a few of the attractions, the kids wanted to do the Create Your Own Candy Bar attraction because they wanted the candy bar at the end. There are usually lines for the attraction so I suggest planning properly and adding in the wait time when planning. Then, enjoy a FREE Hershey’s product sample at the end of the tour. See, feel, hear and smell the transformation of cocoa beans to HERSHEY’S famous chocolate on this fun tour. The complimentary tour was recently updated, to make it even better. If you’re visiting Hersheypark and you find yourself in Chocolate World, I would highly recommend checking out Hershey’s Chocolate Tour.
